SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS

E.C.W. - Episcopal Church Women serve the purpose of encouraging women to serve our Lord through worship, service, stewardship and fellowship. Every baptized woman in the Episcopal Church is an Episcopal Church Woman.

D.O.K - The Daughters of the King is an Order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, or churches in communion with it, or churches who are in the Historic Episcopate. Members undertake a Rule of Life, incorporating the Rule of Prayer and the Rule of Service. By reaffirmation of the promises made at Confirmation, a Daughter pledges herself to a lifelong program of prayer, service and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ's Kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.

Lamplighters - Since the group began in April 1986, the aim of Lamplighters has been to provide support, comfort and encouragement for men and women who have lost a spouse through death or divorce. Realizing that death of a spouse is not the only cause of grief, the group has reached out to anyone who has experienced the death of a relationship or is alone for whatever reason.

All Saints Men’s Club - The Men’s Club sponsors three annual dinners each year. A pancake dinner on Shrove Tuesday that features pancakes, waffles, sausage and all the trimmings, a fish and chicken dinner in May and in September we have a spaghetti, meatball and sausage Italian dinner. They also take on some special projects like the Memorial Garden restoration, the campus restoration projects, special projects to help families in need ( both inside and outside of the church family ), and the aluminum can recycle project ( which benefits Father’s discretionary fund ).

Altar Guild -The altar Guild are a group of parishioners that view that ministry as a scared trust not only of the Altar Guild but to our entire Parish. The basic duties of the Altar Guild are to prepare the necessary items for the celebration of the Eucharist. Also to set up everything for Weddings, Baptisms, Memorials and Funerals. This entails setting up the Altar, Credence Table and Narthex, filling of candles, replacing votive candles, polishing of Vessels and care of the linens. All is done with order and decency.

Fellowship Committee - Fellowship Committees’ goal has always been to provide fellowship opportunities for our congregation. Monies raised are used for fellowship events and to purchase items that promote fellowship. We have replaced several broken folding white tables that are frequently used at events. In addition, new linens and napkins were purchased for the tables in Greene hall. Our new goal, once presented to the vestry, will be to expand the gazebo area and provide the Mary garden with the honor it deserves.

Kairos - The purpose of Kairos is the building of strong Christian communities within the environment of correctional institutions. This is done through the impact of small, share and prayer groups of residents meeting with members of various congregations in an effort to bring Christ into their lives. For more information and if you would like to help with this ministry, please contact Michael Loehner at (727) 809-1203.
